Miacomet

Miacomet is located south of downtown Nantucket, nestled between Surfside and Hummock Pond, stretching from the island’s interior to the southern coastline. The Miacomet Golf Course, found in this area, is a semi-public 18-hole course, recognized as one of the best in Massachusetts. It is celebrated for its well-kept greens, scenic views, and coastal breezes, providing a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels. The course also features a driving range and offers golf lessons. It includes a full-service restaurant, bar, and a charming outdoor covered patio for dining that overlooks the course. It's a casual spot where young kids can have fun practicing on the putting green.

 

Another highlight of the neighborhood is Miacomet Beach, which presents a wide, sandy stretch along the Atlantic Ocean. Miacomet Pond is a small freshwater pond located just behind Miacomet Beach. It’s a delightful spot for a quiet stroll or birdwatching.
