NISDA Sandcastle Contest

Nantucket Island School of Design & the Arts founded this event in 1975, and today the Sandcastle Contest is co-sponsored by NISDA and the Nantucket Chamber of Commerce. It began with neighborhood families getting together at the beach with a picnic to enjoy time together, building sand castles, and has now grown to include our whole Nantucket Community and island visitors—many coming from afar and returning year after year to participate!
